Surface Transforms have solved one of the only weak points of the Ferrari 430 Scuderia.
You'll likely know the Ferrari 430 Scuderia is one of our favourite supercars. It's so raw and exciting, and in the real world, it's still a fast car, but it was always a little let down by its original brakes. This was a time before carbon ceramics had been perfected, and the car feels like it should stop much more effectively than it does for a stripped back supercar for the track.
Thankfully, our friends at Surface Transforms, experts in carbon ceramic brakes, have produced a solution. Their unique construction process of their discs, which we were lucky enough to see on a recent tour of their factory, offers increased durability and three times more effective heat conductivity versus the standard discs, all while saving around 50% compared to buying new OEM discs (or even more using our group buy deal!). They can also be reconditioned up to three times to drastically improve their lifespan, and the health of your wallet!
We are putting our money where our mouth is and having Surface Transforms discs fitted on our 430 Scuderia. The stopping power will be very welcome, as will the increased modulation which was always a weak point of those early ceramics. You don't need to change any other components as the discs are compatible with your 430 Scuderia's existing brake setup, and we can't wait to put them to the test on tours next year.
We have a special group buy discount on these discs, at an unmatchable price of £11,000 a set if we can do five sets, compared to Ferrari replacements being nearer £20,000! So if you're a 430 Scuderia owner, please contact adam@supercar-driver.com.
