To red or not to red, that is the question of so many buying their first Ferrari. Here's a strong argument not to red.
How many kids grow up with the dream of owning a red Ferrari? I loved a red Ferrari as much as the next kid, but for me, my dream has always been anything but red. Ferraris in different colours have always caught my eye at events, whether it be the famous yellow F40, the matte military green F12 TDF nicknamed 'Il Mostro', or the gorgeous 488 Pista Spider recently featured in the standout spec category of Noncours at this year's Secret Meet.
There's one colour though, that I've loved ever since I saw it on a member's new F12 back when they were new, and that is Blu Elettrico — you can probably guess what that translates to — so when I stumbled across this Tailor Made 488 GTB in that exact shade on Instagram, I had to do a focus on it.
Complementing the gorgeous colour is a two-tone stripe in Grigio Titanio and Nero DS and matte Nero DS wheels with matte Grigio Titanio dreamlines, and the more you look at the car, the more you realise every detail has been considered. Even the Cavallino on the rear of the car is in matte Grigio Titanio.
The interior mirrors the exterior with the carbon fibre bucket seats, doors and lower dash dressed in Grigio Titanio Alcantara with blue details in Kvadrat Gloss fabric. As a further nod to the exterior, there's a 12 o'clock stripe on the steering wheel, dreamlines on the carbon fibre paddles and a dreamline on the carbon fibre central tunnel, all painted in Blu Elettrico, and even the button surrounds on that central tunnel, the door handles and the air vents are finished in matte Grigio Titanio.
