History

2010

SCD was born from humble beginnings and a pure passion for cars and driving. Supercardriver Ltd was formed in Oct 2010 due to demand from owners to enjoy their supercars more with like-minded people. Annual membership was £40pa and we had 200 members. Our events started out predominantly Northern based.

2011

Our aspirations and ambitions for SCD grew rapidly as we saw momentum building. 2011 set the foundations for years to come with the first Secret Supercar Meet in March and our first road rally to Scotland in August. By this point, we had 500+ members and 2-3 events a month and were starting to expand into the Midlands as well as North West and Yorkshire.

2012

Many new exciting events were added in 2012 including a North Wales tour, charity rides in an F40 and a very special fundraiser with the Air Ambulance with a Supercar convoy on the M6 Toll, our own Vmax 'Stealth' and Lake Road Rally! 2012 also hosted the first Tom Hartley BBQ which has become a firm fixture in the SCD calendar!

2013

SCD co-founder Adam moved to full time at SCD and started to ramp up our offering! Riad also joined SCD full time. We collaborated with the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power and Media City in Manchester for a unique road tour for over 100 supercars! 2013 also saw the first SCD Euro Tour and Best vs the Rest top speed event.

2014

We moved the Secret Meet to Bruntingthorpe with the aim of creating the most epic group photo to celebrate the start of the Supercar Season, we surpassed expectations and even had a Nimrod join us and a McLaren P1 straight off the production line! SCD became known for this group photo. Membership increased to £160pa during this year and so did our ambition to grow SCD nationally and increase events.

2015

The Red Arrows hosted 200+ members at the RAF Scampton for Diamond 9, complete with track parades and tours of the squadron and jets, as well as an appearance from Guy Martin and his epic Volvo! Our link with the Red Arrows has continued to the present day. We had the wettest Secret Meet to date and Supercar Days launched at Anglesey that summer!

2016

We had raised over £120,000 for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice through a series of special events, including the annual Secret Meets. Diamond 9 returned and hosted a huge gathering of Hypercars and Supercars.

2017

Our first year offering SCD Driving Tours in-house with French Riviera, Tartan Florio, Isle of Man and Best of Italy tour. We hosted 103 events and membership increased to £250pa as we approached 900 members.

2018

We hosted the last Secret Meet group photo at Bruntingthorpe, highlight cars included a Ferrari FXX and Aston Martin Vulcan, alongside some serious car royalty that would pave the way for more ambitious plans. It was also our first Tour Des Alpes - Geneva to Monaco. This tour has become a firm favourite in our calendar. We hosted 113 events!

2019

The Secret Meet moved to Donington Park in April - we saw four seasons in a day yet the support we had was amazing. We hosted 102 events that year. Due to demand we did back to back tours of the Alps, from Geneva to Monaco and back! Membership increased to £350pa for new members as we reached 1000+ members.

2020

For many 2020 was a rollercoaster and uncertain at times, however we lifted spirits as we introduced SCD Lives and hosted over 50 drives. We finished the year with over 80 events all hosted safely under the ever changing guidelines. We even managed an Alps tour and the Secret Meet at Donington that saw the largest hypercar gathering anywhere in the world!

2021

Season Opener at Goodwood (returning 2023). 1200+ Members. Waiting list implemented to reward loyal members who supported SCD and manage rapid demand as we exited the pandemic! 85 events hosted despite continuing uncertainty.

2022

On track for 160+ events across the UK and Europe
